Spring Show

Hi sweet friends, I will be exhibiting in the ‘Fresh Edge’ group show tomorrow from 6-10pm

The concept of the show is centered around Spring; which to me signifies an emergence of life and a transformation of the landscape not only outside but within ourselves.

When deciding on what paintings I wanted to include in this show, I decided on two paintings that were in conversation with one another, and without being too literal, both were created during spring. The process of creation for each was similar; there were many layers of colour and texture, scraped away and added back over several years. Both representing the subtle shifts in landscape and the self.
